This weekend I decided to pick up my knitting needles.
I have two other knitting projects that I should get back to,
but casting on a brand new one seemed like so much more fun. So that is exactly what I did!
When I feel like working with beads again, this sweater will get some attention.
But for now, a basic seed and stockinette stitch is just what the doctor ordered.
And I am beginning to think that this wrap sweater is not to my liking, so before I spend more time on it, I am going to have to reevaluate the design.
Just how many WIPs are too many?

I need to get back to my own knitting, and casting on something new sounds good -- I'm a little bored with the lace scarf I've been knitting on and off for the past few months. I need something with a simpler stitch that I can knit while watching something, I think.

Purple is my favorite color and the shade you are using is so calm and alluring. The teal is a beautiful color but more lively and I love the beads. You probably have a lot to things to wear with these colors so they are a great addition to your lovely wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the green swatch either. Maybe some cables would make the yarn look better. You can always donate the yarn and buy something purple or red or blue. Life is too short to waste knitting something you are not in love with. The green would look lovely on a redhead. As long as you finish projects eventually so you can enjoy wearing them it doesn't matter how many WIP's are waiting.
These all look lovely! I love the beaded sweater pattern. I have quite a few WIPS, but I only actively work on 2-3 projects at a time, and if I decide I'm not going to like an outcome, I am not squeamish about ripping out a half-knit sweater.
