Here is my finished Sewing Indie Month dress! I have plans for another version, but at the moment I am still playing catch-up.
I did manage to finish another dotted dress. Clearly, I am obsessed.
With all the hand sewing I have been doing, the pads of my fingers need a break, so one of these days I am going to uncover my sewing machine and get back to it.
Dress: Made by me, Sew Over It "1940s Tea Dress"
Shoes: Colin Stuart
[I received the pattern and the rayon fabric for this project because of my participation in Sewing Indie Month]
Such a cute dress!
ReplyDeleteWait, one of these days you'll uncover your sewing machine? Did you sew this entire dress BY HAND???

ReplyDeleteWhere do you get these patterns in the US?
ReplyDeletePolka dot power. No one can resist the power of the dot of the polka. Well, I can't anyway. And in rayon, it's all good. Rayon is so sweet for handsewing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cheerful, charmingly sweet dress. Love it! Polka dots forever! :)

Love this one Laura Mae, I love polka dots but buy black continuously and this red is so fresh. This pattern really suits you and although the vintage styling is clear it's very wearable for so many occasions. Success all round.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute.
