I thought it would be an excellent time to host a Fall-themed giveaway,
seeing as I was lucky enough to win Colette Patterns new Anise jacket at
Saturday’s Launch Party.
So if you are in search of a new Fall wardrobe – look no
further!
McCall’s 5192 (size 6-12 in its original factory folds) is a
classic wardrobe pattern. It includes a
cute jacket (excellent for all of those coat/jacket sew-alongs coming up!), a
skirt, and trousers. The only thing you
need to provide is a classic turtleneck or silk shell and your new wardrobe is
complete!
To enter, leave a comment below stating some of your
upcoming Fall sewing plans, or just a quick note.
The giveaway will close Monday, October 1, 2012 at 9:00 p.m.
PST.
Good luck!
I'm in the other 'hemisphere' so I've been planning my Spring/Summer sewing plan! It's here

And I've already knocked the Vogue 1247 (skirt and top!) off my list.
I've been dreaming of sewing a trouser suit for work (for any time of the year) and that one looks perfect!
I'm making coats for my three daughters. It should be fun!
ReplyDeleteI have a midnight blue silk that must be transformed into an evening gown.
ReplyDeleteI am working on a fleece and flannel throw blanket for snuggling under!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently having too much fun planning out multiple fall projects: a walkaway dress out of coordinating prints in my favorite signature color (sage); a high-waisted pencil skirt using an old Vogue pattern and some gorgeous brown suiting I found cheap at a thrift store; and the (seemingly) never-ending task of improving my bedroom with curtains, cushions, and handmade furnishings for that classic, vintage feel. A jacket like the one in your post would work perfectly with the suiting skirt. And there is plenty of fabric for matching separates! Happy sewing, everyone!
ReplyDeleteI have a list of projects that I wrote at the begining of the year, although it has been added to along the way, items left are a hello kitty inspired hoodie (along the lines of my daughters' pikacho hoodie i made)3 more loud shirts, a anime outfit, and a cloak. All for my kids and S.H. at some point I hope to make myself something. The skirt and jacket A are lovely, I think it is the floatiness of the skirt and sleeves that does it.
ReplyDeleteNothing planned, but I want to try and make some skirts and dresses for colder weather. I really like the skirt suit in the pattern.
ReplyDeleteHave just started on a pattern cutting course, part way through a Burdastyle jersey top, and started a toile for my sister's wedding dress. The trousers in that pattern look great, very classic.
