The Marin Symphony Opening Gala Celebration was
fantastic. The music of Tchaikovsky was absolutely
glorious - and if you happen to be in the Bay Area this week, the program will
be repeated this Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
I would highly recommend the experience.
I am
exhausted, but had to share a sneak peek of the dress that I finished just
hours before I had to leave the house - those finishing touches always take
longer than expected!
There
will be many more pictures to come, but for the moment, I will leave you with this
little hint . . .
Oh, the skirt looks amazing! Please hurry up with other photos!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing - can't wait to see the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous! Like Kathleen, I can't wait to see the whole enchilada. Glad you had fun at the gala. I also enjoy Tchaikovsky.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if sewing and surfing have anything in common?
ReplyDelete@Danny Well, they are both considered hobbies by some people, and are the passion of others. And there are varying degrees of proficiency one can achieve in both, and an extreme amount of enjoyment that comes from participating in either. Both can relax, frustrate, and ultimately become an obsession. So yes, I suppose there are many similarities!
